Monument Beach Marina | Bourne, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.16" x 20"
Oil on Canvas Panel
Framed
This piece is a view of the dock shed on the Monument Beach Marina, Bourne, Cape Cod. A lovely piece with composition rich in design, depth, and a little drama expressed in the sky. This painting was created from a photograph taken by Shelli, a Cape Cod artist. Vitoria was deeply inspired by Shelli's beautiful photography and feels honored to have been granted permission to paint it.
To further appreciate the inspiration behind this painting, Shelli shares her thoughts on photographs:
"Each time I watch the sunset I just can’t believe that God created this! All the amazing colors, and each time it’s different, like a snowflake! The excitement of "How will it be tonight?", and the changing of the colors as it sets. The love and light shining through makes these moments a gift. Being able to use a boat or a dock or something as a focal point just adds character I think."
As with all of her work, Vitoria prayed before, during, and after the painting process, asking God to bless her mind and hands as she created the piece.
Once completed, the painting was carefully wrapped and brought to a professional framing studio, where it was framed with the guidance of an experienced framing specialist, just as all the other pieces in the collection were. Please note that, while each piece has been professionally framed, the frames may show light wear from age and storage.
This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork. All sales are final. To ensure the piece remains in good condition, unnecessary handling and transportation are avoided whenever possible.
