On July 24, 2021, at 6:00 PM, on Tobys Island in Bourne, Cape Cod, Vitoria set out in search of a beautiful view to photograph with the intention of painting it later. As she walked, she was struck by the peacefulness of the surroundings and the quiet atmosphere of the location. This feeling became the inspiration behind the painting's title, Enjoying the Quiet. More than a landscape, this painting represents a cherished memory and the sense of calm experienced in that moment.
The artist loves this painting because she feels it successfully captures the atmosphere and spirit of Cape Cod. To her, it embodies the feeling of being there.
This was the second painting completed for the collection. One of the artist's favorite details is the way the droplets of water appear on the wooden bridge, adding to the realism and character of the scene.
As with all of her work, Vitoria prayed before, during, and after the painting process, asking God to bless her mind and hands as she created the piece.
Once completed, the painting was carefully wrapped and brought to a professional framing studio, where it was framed with the guidance of an experienced framing specialist, just as all the other pieces in the collection were. Please note that, while each piece has been professionally framed, the frames may show light wear from age and storage.
This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork. All sales are final. To ensure the piece remains in good condition, unnecessary handling and transportation are avoided whenever possible.
